Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem | 2026–2027 School Year

Position Overview

  • Setting: On-site K-12 Public School Classrooms (Resource, Inclusion, or Specialized SDC)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Caseloads: Mild/Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) or Extensive Support Needs (ESN / Mod-Severe)

What You Will Do

  • Provide direct, targeted instruction to individual students and small groups based on IEP goals.
  • Write, track, and manage IEPs using district software like SEIS.
  • Work alongside general ed teachers, paras, speech therapists, and parents to implement student accommodations and behavior plans.
  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment using behavioral strategies and assistive tech.

What You Need

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Credential: Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential. Preliminary, Clear, Level I/II.
  • Authorizations: Preferred R3MM (Mild/Moderate) or R3EN (Extensive Support Needs), plus English Learner Authorization (ELAE or CLAD).
  • Key Skills: Solid knowledge of IEP compliance, clear communication, and a practical approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
