Position Description

We are currently onboarding nurses so that when a Health Suite nursing opportunity opens in your area, you are 100% onboarded, cleared, and ready to jump right in with zero delays!

Completing your credentialing ahead of time puts you at the top of our priority list for upcoming openings, allowing you to secure your preferred schedule, location, and school the moment a position becomes available.

As a Health Suite RN, you will be assigned to a designated school site and serve as the go-to clinical resource for students and staff:

  • Triage and treat students who visit the health suite for illness, injury, and first aid
  • Administer scheduled and as-needed medications per provider orders
  • Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, seizure disorders, and severe allergies per students' individualized healthcare plans
  • Respond to health emergencies and coordinate with families, EMS, and school staff
  • Collaborate with school teams on student health and care plans (IHPs, 504 plans, IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate health records and support immunization and screening compliance

We will do our best to place you at a school site of your preference, but assignment availability may vary district by district.

Scheduling

  • PRN / Standby: Begin onboarding immediately and be first in line when Health Suite placements open.
  • Full-Time: 30–35 hours per week
  • Part-Time: 15–30 hours per week
  • School Calendar Schedule: Enjoy day-shift hours with no nights, no major holidays, and no mandatory weekend shifts!

Assignments are matched on a priority, first-come, first-served basis for cleared nurses. Completing your compliance now ensures you can claim the part-time schedule that best fits your availability.

Support & Training

  • Administrative Support: our Staffing Consultants are the primary contact and coordinators for all nurses and day-to-day operations
  • Clinical Supervision: all providers work under the supervision of a RoHealth Clinical Supervisor who leads trainings, orientations, and provides in person or telephonic field support
  • Providers Skills Training: all providers are required to attend a standardized RoHealth Provider Skill Training, led by the Clinical Supervisor, prior to starting any case. The training is approximately 5-hours in duration and covers content such as diabetic management, seizure precaution, g-tubes, urinary catheters, tracheostomy care, med administration, and more!
  • Orientations: on the first day of starting a new assignment, the Clinical Supervisor will accompany nurses on their assignment to help orient and familiarize them with the specifics of their assignment. Additional orientations can be provided on a need be basis.
  • 24/7/365 Phone Support: You can give our office line a call ANY day at ANY time! If the primary staff are unavailable to take your call, you will still be connected with a RoHealth representative who can take your message and ensure it reaches the right person!

The RoHealth onboarding process can take between 1-2 weeks to complete all credentialing requirements. Our credentialing team works to ensure that your are cleared and in compliance with RoHealth, the State, and the Joint Commission!
