Position Overview

  • Setting: K-12 Public Schools, Charter Networks, or Special Education Programs
  • Start Date: Immediate for 2026-2027
  • Format: On-site assessments, counseling, and IEP team consultations

What You Will Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, triennial assessments, and initial testing for special education eligibility.
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings to present evaluation findings and recommend appropriate student services.
  • Provide direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to individual students and small groups.
  • Consult with teachers, school administrators, and parents to develop functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and positive behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with district teams and community partners to strengthen student support systems.

What You Need

  • Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology (or Ed.S.).
  • Credential: Active Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
  • Skills: Strong foundation in psychoeducational assessment tools, IEP compliance, report writing, and clinical consultation.
