Pay: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)

This role is ideal for LPNs seeking a rewarding pediatric nursing position with excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an assigned student throughout the school day.
• Monitor and manage the student's medical needs, including:
  • Seizure disorders (including Diastat administration)
  • Tracheostomy care
  • G-tube feedings
  • Type 1 diabetes management (insulin administration and pump support)
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
• Follow individualized healthcare plans (IHPs), physician orders, and school care plans.
• Document care accurately and communicate with the healthcare team as needed.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Pediatric, school nursing, home health, or private duty nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
