My name is Cindy Gomez. I have been a Registered Nurse for more than 15 years. I earned my nursing degree in Austin, Texas, in 2006. 

I have a strong passion for the nursing profession and a diverse nursing background. I began my career in women’s and infant’s health. I have worked in the hospital, private practices, community health settings, and in patients’ homes. My nursing experience includes high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, newborn nursery and postpartum care, pediatrics, chronic disease education, staff education and training, inpatient psychiatric, home health, and supervision of clinical staff in various areas of nursing. I have a passion for working with children and their families and a love for teaching. 

 I am determined to learn and grow in my profession and within Ro Health, LLC. I am thrilled to be working as a Clinical Supervisor in both Private Duty Nursing and School Health Nursing. It is great to be working alongside so many experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated people in various disciplines within the company. I look forward to contributing my knowledge and experience to aid Ro Health in growing and thriving in Texas. One of my responsibilities within my role is ensuring the nurses we hire to care for our patients are qualified, prepared, and well trained. I take this very seriously. My goal is to ensure our patients receive the same quality care that I expect me and family to receive.

 To end, I would like to share a little about my family. I am from Corpus Christi, Texas, but have lived in Austin since my senior year of high school. I live with my husband of 26 years. We have two sons together, a 19-year-old and a 24-year-old. I have a 26-year-old stepson (my husband’s son), and a family dog. We are fluent in Spanish. In our free time we take advantage of the beautiful area we live in and the countless outdoor activities Austin and Central Texas offer. We also enjoy the robust live music scene that is such a big part of our city.
